TES HireWire celebrates its first anniversary with 3,000 schools

TSL Education's revolutionary free online recruitment service, TES HireWire, marks its first anniversary with 3,000 secondary, Academy and Independent schools signed up to the service, some 75% of all senior schools in England.

In a further endorsement of TES HireWire 90 Local Authorities in England (60%) have also subscribed for the free Local Authority version of the service since its launch in January this year.

Bill Donoghue, Managing Director at TSL Education, said: "The results of our strategy to put technology in the hands of the schools and local authorities in England to streamline the recruitment process and further help them to find the best teachers, speak for themselves. We are very proud of our first year's achievement and hugely delighted with the reaction we have received up and down the country from schools, candidates and local authorities alike"

Bill Donoghue continues, "Some 45,000 candidates have already registered their details and applied for over 4,350 vacancies via TES HireWire to date in a variety of different media and jobs boards including the TES. We now expect to have all senior schools and the vast majority of local authorities in England signed up and using TES HireWire by the summer."
