TSL Education announces the next version of its free online school recruitment service – TES HireWire LA

TSL Education has today announced at an exclusive event at The Wallace Collection in London that, following the phenomenal success of TES HireWire, its free online school recruitment service, it will launch a completely free online hosted jobs board version of the service, TES HireWire LA for all local authorities.

Speaking at the event, Bernard Gray, executive chairman of TSL Education, said: "Our strategy has always been to put TES HireWire in the hands of schools first. That strategy has already exceeded our expectations. Since we launched in February this year over 1000 secondary schools (30%) have signed up with some 700 schools activated and using the service. More than 1000 teaching positions have been advertised via TES HireWire in a variety of different media, with 8000 teachers already registered as candidates. We anticipate more than 50% of secondary schools will be using the service by the end of this year. Our next step is to deliver that service to Local Authorities, by launching an online hosted jobs board on which schools will be able to post their vacancies via their TES HireWire account, completely free of charge and to ANY media of their choice."

Bernard Gray continued: "TES HireWire LA will not only provide local authorities with a free online hosted jobs board to advertise all schools recruitment vacancies, it will also provide enhanced insight into recruiting patterns and trends in their local areas and further streamline the entire recruitment process. TSL Education's strategic imperative is to help recruit the best teachers and support staff for the right roles which in turn helps to drive up standards of education in UK classrooms. We are convinced TES HireWire will address that strategic imperative both at the school and local authority level."
