Postdoctoral Research Associate in cell biology
£32,277 per annum
Plus £2,323 London Allowance
A postdoctoral position funded by the BBSRC is available in the laboratory of Dr. Monica Agromayor to analyse the molecular mechanisms orchestrating the interplay between the plasma membrane and the underlying actin cytoskeleton in important biological processes including cytokinesis and membrane repair after injury.
This project will use a combination of biochemical, cell biology and microscopy approaches. The successful candidate will have a PhD in cell biology or related discipline in molecular biomedical science. He/she will be hardworking with a proven scientific track record and will have a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology and/or microscopy. We will actively support postdoctoral fellowship applications to outside funding organisations. This post is full time for three years.
