A Teaching Fellow in Digital Curation is required for a 9-month full time teaching fellow position in the Department of Digital Humanities. The post is available from the 1st January 2016. The successful applicant will deliver excellent postgraduate and undergraduate teaching on the highly popular MA in Digital Asset and Media Management and the BA in Digital Culture.

Depending on the knowledge and expertise of the successful applicant the post holder will be required to teach on aspects of the following:
MA Digital Asset and Media Management core module in the area of management fundamentals, including legal and ethical issues, strategy and policy, stakeholder engagement and user requirements;
Optional modules on the MA Digital Asset and Media Management including:
Digital Asset and Media Technologies in Practice; Curating and Preserving Digital Culture
BA Digital Culture optional module Digital Economy and Audiences.

The Fellow will supervise students undertaking MA dissertations on the MA Digital Asset and Media Management and assist in convening the dissertation module including running workshops in research methods, allocating students to supervisors, and providing advice, guidance and research expertise across a broad range of dissertation research topics. The Fellow will be expected to assess and mark work in the department, and to assist with admissions. The Fellow will provide a high level of pastoral care for students through the personal tutor process. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent work experience in digital curation or a related field; teaching experience in Higher Education ideally at both undergraduate and Masters level; and evidence of research and expertise in the field of digital curation.
