Research Assistant (Data) in the Department of Palliative Care, Policy and Rehabilitation

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented data analyst with a strong grasp of data management methods and experience using different types of statistical and analytic software. The appointee will be at the heart of two exciting studies; C-CHANGE, which involves developing a patient-centred, nationally applicable casemix classification for adult palliative care provision in order to inform funding models and ensure that individual patient needs are met with high-quality, cost-effective care, and OACC, which involves implementing patient-centered outcome measures in palliative care practice.

The post provides opportunities to analyse complex data and work with academic and clinical leaders in the fields of specialist palliative care, casemix classification, resource use, and outcome measurement. The project will enable an experienced data analyst to engage in national work alongside a diverse team of experts in order to provide guidance for future policy and funding models.

The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £27,328 to £31,656 per annum, plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance depending on qualifications.

Interviews will be held the week commencing 28 November 2016.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

This is a Fulltime – 100 % full time equivalent.
