Senior Lecturer or Reader or Professor in Innate Immunity

This post is an exciting opportunity for an established academic (Professor) or exceptional early career researcher (Senior Lecturer/Reader) to conduct research of world-class quality at King’s College London (appointment dependent on skills and experience).

The post-holder will develop and/or consolidate an international profile in the field of Innate Immunity/Regenerative Medicine interfaced with adaptive immunity, with relevance to transplant immunology. The post holder will be expected to establish and/or lead a research team to develop their own research, establish an independent research portfolio which complements the existing strengths of the Centre, coordinate and manage research grant activities including line management of researchers on grant(s), and apply for grants, fellowships and consultancies. The post-holder will write and contribute to publications in high impact scientific journals and disseminate research. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to teaching and supervision, attracting and supervising high calibre post graduate students, organising courses and contributing to undergraduate/post graduate teaching according to their area of expertise.

The selection process will include a presentation and/or seminar and a panel interview.

The salary will be paid at;
Senior Lecturer Grade 8, £50,618 - £58,655 per annum
Reader: Reader Grade, £52,131 – £64,089 per annum
Professor: Personal Salary from £66,084 per annum

plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be based on a full time, indefinite contract
