PET PERL QC Manager

Allowances: Plus £2,923 London Allowance

This is a maternity cover position and so will be for up to 12 months or until the substantive post holder returns to work

We are looking to recruit an experienced QC professional to act as QC manager for our new PET isotope production facility (the PERL).

The post holder will have overall responsibility for the QC analysis of PET radiotracers produced at the facility. This will include organising the routine analyses of radiopharmaceuticals, analytical methods development, documentation (SOPs, validation results, trending, etc.), overview of analytical infrastructure maintenance and building a proactive lab culture in the department. They will have line management responsibility for staff in the QC team.

The post-holder will take the lead in planning, preparation, data collection, monitoring, validation, documentation and implementation of QC methods, technology and instrumentation.


The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation and a panel interview.
