QA Officer_PET Radiochemist - maternity cover
£41,212 to £49,149 per annum
Plus £2,923 London Allowance
This is a key role within the PET Radiochemistry team. The post holder will have responsibility for acting as the PET QA Officer for the team as well as fulfilling duties as a radiochemist providing direct and indirect support to the routine manufacture of PET radiotracers. QA duties will focus on being the key point of contact between QA/pharmacy and the PET radiochemistry team, as well as undertaking administrative QA tasks. Radiochemistry duties will focus on PET manufacturing and providing support to the PET production team.
The successful applicant will have a higher degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), with experience working in QA for a licensed pharmaceutical production unit and demonstrable knowledge of GMP, GCP, QA and current pharmaceutical legislation. Ideally they would also have experience in a radiopharmacy laboratory. The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills, be calm under pressure and be able to prioritise a busy workload, working on their own initiative where required.
The selection process will consist of a panel interview.
Interviews are scheduled to be held February 2018.
