Translational QC PET Radiochemist
£33,518 to £39,992 per annum
Plus £2,923 London Allowance
We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Translational QC PET Radiochemist to work as part of the research and development team at KCL PET Centre and Imaging Chemistry and Biology Department. This role is part of a Biomedical Research Centre funded project within the Division of Imaging Science and Biomedical Engineering.
The role will be to assist in the translation and development of QC analysis methods for new radiopharmaceuticals and to optimise methods for radiopharmaceuticals that are currently available in the research literature. KCL has an exciting pipeline of novel PET tracers intended for clinical translation and the objective of the post is to work with the radiochemistry team to implement robust methods and associated documentation for GMP QC analysis of these radiotracers to facilitate their use in humans. The development methods must therefore be translatable into GMP production. Teaching and training of radiochemistry staff will be expected.
The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
