Offa’s Mead has a talented, caring, committed and enthusiastic team who work together to provide our children and their families with a range of exciting and engaging learning opportunities to help them become independent, confident lifelong learners. We are part of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) network of 67 primary, secondary and special academies.
Our existing Principal is moving onto a new promoted position at the end of this year and she has laid strong foundations for the future. We are very proud of our “Good” Ofsted rating (June 2014) and have high aspirations and expectations for further and improved outcomes for our children.
Our new Principal will build on the excellent work which has already been undertaken and will:
• Be a dynamic, inspirational leader who will relish the challenge of taking us to outstanding
• Have passion, enthusiasm and commitment to inspire our children and the community to reach their full potential
The successful applicant will enjoy the autonomy of Headship with the support of a committed and supportive governing body and the largest academy network in England. Everything is in place for you and the academy to succeed.
The position is due to commence September 2016. Interviews are scheduled to take on Monday 16 May 2016.
Visits to the academy are warmly encouraged and can be arranged by contacting Offa’s Mead Academy on 01291 622932.
For an informal discussion or for an application form contact Tanya Bentham on 0845 453 0088 or email [email protected].
We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts. This post will be subject to enhance checks as part of our Prevent Duty.
