We are seeking an enthusiastic, influential and imaginative music teacher to join our successful and experienced Creative and Expressive Arts department. We will expect you to be committed, enthusiastic and caring, with high professional standards. The successful candidate will have experience of GCSE and BTEC Music and will be required to teach across the age and ability range. You will also be able to teach piano and will be expected to contribute to extra-curricular activities and after school revision classes where necessary. Applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome.
Our school is moving from strength to strength. Examination results have improved dramatically over the last few years and this year 77% of students gained A*-C grades in both English and Maths with 66% of students gaining 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths. Progress in English and Maths is consistently above national averages. Our NEET figures are virtually zero this year. In June 2014 Ofsted judged us to be a ‘Good’ school.
